These Terms apply to the use of this website and the content presented on it. Details about the operator are set out in our Legal Notice (Impressum).
2. Purchases and the Role of Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record)
This website presents digital travel guides and related content. Purchases are not concluded with us. All sales are processed by Lemon Squeezy (operated by Sold through Link, LLC) as the Merchant of Record. When you buy a product, the contract of sale is concluded directly between you and Sold through Link, LLC, which is responsible for checkout, payment, invoicing, applicable taxes and delivery of the digital product. The terms and the privacy policy of Lemon Squeezy apply to the purchase and are presented to you during checkout.
3. Digital Products
Our products are digital downloads (e.g. PDF travel guides and interactive maps). After a successful purchase, your download links are made available by Lemon Squeezy (by email) and on the thank-you page of this website. A suitable device and software (e.g. a PDF reader) are required to use the products.
4. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once performance has begun, provided you have expressly consented to the immediate start of performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained by Lemon Squeezy during checkout. Withdrawal and refund requests are handled by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with its terms.
5. Intellectual Property and Licence
All content, including the travel guides, maps, text and images, is protected by copyright and remains our property or that of our licensors. Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish or otherwise make the products publicly available, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.
6. Travel Information Disclaimer
Our guides are provided for general information purposes. While prepared with care, we do not guarantee that all information (such as opening hours, prices, routes or availability) is complete, accurate or up to date. Travel involves inherent risks; you are responsible for your own travel decisions, safety and compliance with local laws and entry requirements.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms where necessary, for example due to changes in the law or our services. The version published on this website at the time of your use applies.
